I know I'm not the only one it's happened to...You waited for a certain artist to release a hyped up album and it's terrible. So, What Albums were disappointing to you?
I'll start with the most recent albums I was disappointed with and I'll add more later.
Fabolous - Real Talk (I just want to hear a full album of Fabolous Sport instead of Ghetto Fabolous)
Eminem - Encore
Talib - The Beautiful Struggle (After all the hype and re-doing his album he still failed to get back to "Reflection Eternal" status)
DJ Quik - Under the influence
Snoop - Last two albums (R&G and Paid the cost to be the boss)
Jay-Z - The Black Album (it was coo but it just wasn't great to me, I liked Blueprint a lot better)

I feel you 100%... The Black Album wasn't Bad but all the hype surrounding it, he could've went back to RD style more. And Blueprint 2 shouldn't have even been released...It was 90% filler and no real content on the album. Kanye's album was overrated, couldn't really say disappointed because I personally wasn't expecting much..and Diddy had too much influence on 8ball & MJG's last album.

I disagree with these two... Why is everybody bein so **** Destiny Fulfilled?
And I wasn't disappointed with A Beautiful Struggle. It's still ten times better than half the ish out here.
The cd i was most disappointed with in my lifetime would have to be Common's Electric Circus. Not because it wasn't creative or whatever, but it was definitely not what I was expecting.
The "Electric Circus" Common was not the Common I knew. BUT as a true fan would do, I played it over and over and it grew on me, and I still love the mess out of his music......

ppl gon think im crazy but i didnt really like TP3 by R. Kelly...iono why...i only liked a couple songs from it. I guess i was expectin more cuz TP2 was tha business...i wasnt too big on all that trapped in the closet mess...i also heard his new album wit same girl ft usher is garbage, but i guess that depends who u ask
