A Real Man In a crazy Situation

I was talking to this guy (let's just call him Ben) the other day and he was telling me about the situation he was in. His best friends sister, in which he (Ben) was dating had a baby by another guy. The guy walked out on her and Ben, being a man, took on the daddy role to the little boy. Now Ben is in a bad situation. The girl's taking advantage of him. She basically treating Ben like shyte. He takes care of her child and she just dogs him. She expects him to sit home and take care of her child while she goes out and works and does whatever she wants. She doesn't communicate with him or never spends time with him. She won't even find a baby sitter so this man can get a job. Now if that ain't fukked up, I don't know what is. Now Ben being the good guy in this situation, he feels that he would only hurt the child if he just up and leaves. So, even though she puts him through all types of shyte, he stays for the child thats not even his, but he's the only one there for the little boy who is 2 years old. What do ya'll think about this situation?

I agree...he didn't have to stay in tha first place and he did...and thaz tha kind of treatment he gets? That aint right...

I'm tired of this login bullshyt! Anywho, it's Ben's fault he's in that situation and he needs to get himself out of it. Yeah, I know he cares about the child, but he shouldn't let SOMEONE ELSE'S responsibility weigh so much on him that he ends up trapped. Ben needs to get gone and go get a damn job! WTF? this niccah gone be unemployed so he can take care of someone else's baby..yeah fuqqin right! :roll:

I think it is very descent of Ben to take care of the child but at the same time he is not obligated to take care of her responsibilty. Now if he is living there and just not working the girl may feel that since he is not contributing to anything he should take care of the child that is the least he can do. If he is not than yes she is taking advantage of him and at this point he should talk to her and tell him how he feels. Since he is apart of the little boys life that does not mean that he can't still be in his life. If Ben got a Job he could help her out with paying for a baby sitter or anything. There is all kinds of ways of looking at the situation. I understand he is trying to look out for teh little boy but he also needs to look out for himself too.
