Just curious... who has actually heard of him or listened to his album. I listened to almost everything thats come out recently and on the real there isn't anything that moves me like this album. This dudes LP (and story) is mad real (the album is in story form). Kinda reminiscent of D'angelo's old stuff in some ways but he definitely has his own style. Its kinda sad that most of the people that i've talk to haven't heard of him but they are on John Legend hard (sorry ya'll... he's tight but way overrated especially compared to the plethora of artist out there not gettin props).

I heard it in the cafe one day and decided to but it. It's something about his voice that I really like. I'm not an emotional person, but "Cry," "26 Years, 17 Days," and "Made Up My Mind" had me crying...CRYING  . If I'm going through some rough times, "Cry" is guaranteed to make me cry!

LOL its funny that you mention those three songs because those are the ones that i always talk about. Its been a minute since a song moved me in one way or another and Cry and Made up My Mind had me out of my seat... Those songs are way to real.

Yes they are...it's impossible to have a favorite song from the album because they are all just that deep, but Made Up My Mind does really move you in ways you never thought a song could move you...I mean this man is serious with his music. People are sleeping on Lyfe.

After being told by a friend of mine and my brother, I decided to go get this album. I have to say that this is probably the worst decision I made because I waited so long to buy this album. It is definitely an album that you can play from beginning to end and not skip a track, unless you just want to hear your song. My song is "Cry." javascript:emoticon('') Sad That man did it.
