Is Howard overhyped??? Posted on 03-16-2005

I have wanted to go to this school for as long as I can remember. However I always hear that its a very elite school and they want top notch students. Now I am smart don't get me wrong but in High School I could have done a whole hell of a lot better. Now that I have started college and I am finished for the term I wonder if I can get accepted as a transfer student to Howard? I want to know how hard is it to really get in?

Hey, I was recently accepted into Howard...it is a tough school, but not as tough to get into as many people think. If your planning on transfering as far as I know, you high school records disappear, they only consider your college grades. But you should call the admissions offic and speak to someone...it may be tough to get through right now because they are a little behind in their traditional admissions, but best of luck to you.
