DonDada Blacklick, OH
For those of you who were here, I'm trying to get a perspective on why you think The Cafe was so hot during the summer of 2003. I'll be using the info to see what I can do to make it hot once more. Holla back.

^^^^ lol...Thanks Wayne...I dunno, summer 03 has just been the best time of HBCU cause it was never the same, it wasnt predicatable...you never knew what was gonna pop off...nobody cared what anyone had to say.....people was just real about everything. People care too much now about what someone with a screenname thinks of them...thats what I think the biggest difference was. Aside from the drama...the high school class of 03 was all gettin ready to go to their respective HBCUs that August...and alotta of us became real close outside the board...like Rod, me and Bree would be on 3 way every nite...Its funny cause everyone who graduated in 03 was always in the high school room and we all evenutally just transitioned into the yard. But the beefs, the crushes, the surprises, the people...and everything else is what made it so memorable and like no other time on HBCU...but thats just my P.O.V...I'll let some more veterans tell it how they remember.

It was the mix of personalities we had on here I mean it was wild. Me, Mila, Bree, Negative Man, Soewhat, Playa Prez, Kee, Jimmie, Slim, and Wit. I mean its like a good episode of College Hill. I mean I would come home after work everyday and be on HBCU. You never know wha would happen next or who would say what next.

yea, i think it was that a lot of us started talking outside of the website, and the fact that you could post ANYTHING you wanted to on the yard without wondering what catergory it was supposed to be in or whether it would be deleted. the high school room was JUMPIN!

yeah the high school room was jumpin fa real, whether tha 03 seniors were in there or not! and we didn't have so many subforums so anything was posted in the yard. And I also agree with Mila, how u never knew what was going to happen...it hasnt been the same since man

Hey Rod, I remember days when I would be gone for the whole day, come back at like 10 p.m. and hop on, and there was like a thread with 7 to 10 pages just from that day with some drama. Good drama
