I want to know... *Did you find it hard to get along with your room mate? *What is one thing that you feel is necessary to have while away from home? * Do you feel its a big difference between High school a college? and if so in what ways?

*Did you find it hard to get along with your room mate? Actually my roomate is someone who I've known since 8th grade. She's ok but when your use to your OWN space for so long its hard to adapt. A lot of people I know roomed with people they know. Now its a 50/50 chance that it will or won't work out. It all depends on you as a person. But more than likely you'll end up wanting your own room by ur soph year. *What is one thing that you feel is necessary to have while away from home? Uhh besides the obvious cell phone which in college will become your LIFE. But def be focused bring your correct state of mind to college because trust me its PLENTY of distractions * Do you feel its a big difference between High school a college? and if so in what ways? Hmm..you'll notice that they are really similar. And I mean that as far as the social setting. You'll notice that females and males are the same in college that they were in highschool. Maybe you'll find some more "mature" people but its all about who you surround yourself with. Other then that you go to class and handle ya business. Hope that helped

Ok me and my roommate are actually cool as hell. When we first moved in i thought they put with some lame a** nerd and that I was going to have to get a change b4 the year was out. But he was cool. I am use to having my own space so it was ALOT of adjusting. The one thing that I have to have is my cell phone, like Tiph said. I remember when my cell broke earlier this semester I felt like my life was over on the real. Iight lemme tell yall. COLLEGE is exactly like High School. Only thing different is the naggin parents. Well sometimes ya RA can be as worse as ya parents when it comes to fines and what for lil stuff. Like for example they talkin bout giving everybody in the dorm a $100 fine because of grafitti on the elevator. But yea it is exactly the same to me the only difference is living on campus. Someof the classes are just like high school, the work and the setting. Hope I helped if any more questions are needed just holla @ ya ****

(throws Jeremy out the room like Jazz on "Fresh Prince") the title of the topic is "Ask Ms. H.B.I.C. & AggieWarrior, not TruChicagoan...

1. my first year overall wasn't too bad... i didn't get off to a good start academically, b/c i was not really into Computer Science that much...i think if i had more drive in that field, i would've done better... just stay focused and if you want to change your major... do it before you get stuck w/ a low GPA, and you have to bust your tail to get it up (as i'm doing now) 2. the financial aid people will keep fuccin w/ you and your money... refund check lines are not fun to be in, i guarantee... and when you get into your academic career at A&T... the housing dept. will start fuccin w/ you as well.. 3. I stayed in the Aggie Suites for two years... and i enjoyed my stay... my freshman year, was the better of the two, since it was classified as off-campus... 24 hr coed, it was the jumpoff... the 2nd year was straight, but it began transitioning to A&T housing, which put in more rules, but i still had my girl over, and whoever i wanted... so it was cool... now the Suites are under full control of A&T housing... which pretty much means hell... especially building F, they have that thing held down like it's Ft. Knox 4. the student life is great, everyone is like family... and most of us have each others backs since we are Aggies... when Aggies aren't on campus, we are always somewhere else... rollin deep, and you can feel that Aggie Pride whereeva you go... the gym jams are the jumpoff, especially the first one of the year, and the first one of 2nd semester... this year, it slipped b/c we had a horrible SGA President... but next year... our new administration is planning to do a whole lot for the school... and i have a lot of confidence that you'll have a better first year than the class of 2008..
