FAMU students question on Freshmen Studies summer 2005

I was wondering if any of u guys know what this 6 week program during the summer is all about? I talked with admissions and they said the only way I'll be permitted into the university is if i go to this for 6 weeks and maintain a 2.0+ GPA.
Anybody know if this is cool or what?
