Waz up, I'm thinking about transfering to clark atlanta. My major right now is criminal justice but strongly thinking about changing to theatre. it's my passion. Ever since I was little, I've love movies, plays, and performing. I've been a few plays when i was little. Everyone tells me they can see me as a lawyer but I can't see myself as one. I've been thinking a lot about this and realized law isn't for me. I want to pursue acting. I remember visiting Spellman when my cousin graduated from there in 1996. I was in junior high then. I just loved to see the blacks get together with fighting and actually accomplishing their dreams at a black school and ever since then I've wanted to go to an hbcu. The same cousin just graduated from Clark with her master's in social work. So She's told me alot about Spellman, Morehouse, and Clark Atlanta. I called Clark the other day and a student who works in admissions told me the same thing my cousin told me. The CAU experience is like no other hbcu college or university. The 3 schools are involved with one another so much their like a family. I felt that the minute i went to spellman clark atlanta for the first time in '96 and this past May when my cousin graduated with her masters.
I currently have a 2.5 gpa. The student in admisssions also told me that the gpa is a 2.3 for transfer students. Which isn't bad I guess? He told me that clark's theater major is pretty good and it's combined with a communicatons concentration. He told me there still receiving applcations so it's not to late to apply. I'm going to apply and see what happens? My only problem is the cost of attending:$25,000 and some change. That's pretty high. Hopefully, i'll get enough financial aid to cover it?Since I'm an out of state student. I'm also considering NC A&T. A&T from what 've heard has one of the programs out staging Howard.
So any students that attend Clark, Holla at ur girl
