I feel like I have lost my way Posted on 04-29-2005

Alright here is my story, My freshman yr of college I went to Howard, did pretty well academically, made good friends and really enjoyed the atmosphere of an HBCU. Both my parents graduated from Howard so it was good. But Im from MD so I felt like it was too close to home. I transferred after that yr and went to a school on eastern shore of MD and had a horrible yr academically. After that yr last year, I decided to go to community college here in tallahassee to get my associate's degree and possibly go to florida St. So here I am, with my AA degree trying to decide were to go. I almost feel like I just would be more motivated to do well if i was back at an HBCU. I was initially thinking Morehouse but have really started to like Clark Atlanta. Its a smaller school so I could be more focused. Having been to both an HBCU and a predominately white girl, I know what both scenes are like. I'm thinking I just might end up at CAU..what you think?
