I like Kanye ( I love the soul that he put in his music), Scott Storch (cuz his stuff has a mixture of different sounds that are catchy), Timbaland (he just different n e way. did ya'll see how much weight he lost?), and Rich Harrison ( I like his mixture and his bass lines always be hot.)

That's cuz it's not his music :-) . For almost every single beat he makes all he does is sample songs, which is cool, but after he samples them he just speeds them up (BPM) and adds drums to them. For example, "Diamonds are Forever", is actually the beat to the James Bond movie with nothing added but drums. "Encore" is a sampled beat just sped up with drums. If you ever heard his song "Apologize" off his Late Registration CD comin up (the one where he tried to sing  ), all he did was rip off the same beat whoever made Tweet's beat did. And he did absolutely nothing to that beat. And about 80% if not more of The Curse (which pretty much everyone agrees is the best side to one of Jay Z's best CDs ever) contains beats made by Kanye, which I believe are all samples except for maybe one or two. Because of all this sampling and taking credit for the beats I know a couple of producers who don't like him for what he's doing. Because the general public doesn't even know that he's really not doing anything to the beats but, they think he's actually being that creative himself. I actually like Kanye only because he's the first to really do the sampling as much as he is. Not to mention how he stole Tupacs "Bonnie and Klyde" beat, he only sped the joint up by like 10bpm if even that. The list is really endless Funny how The Roc's best producer steals beats, and it's best rapper steals rhymes. I got luv for both Jay and Kanye tho.

He founded Def Jam with Russell Simmons and has been doing beats for 20 years for all types of artists, even all the way back to Run DMC. One of his recent joints is 99 Problems.
