what was the situation and what was your repsonce?
welp, it was about a year ago...
while working at payless in tampa florida, i had to walk about 1/4 of a mile down a street to get to the job from my apartment...i was walking when i heard a car speed up behind me...it was a 25 MPH zone and they were doing about 40....
the next thing i knew i saw like 4 white boys in a jeep wearing wife beaters and gap clothes...one of them pumped his fist in the air and as the car zoomed by, i heard someone yell ".......igggger!"
then i heard "whooo hooo! we got 'em!" and i saw them giving eachother high fives...
at first i couldn;t figure out what the hell had been said because they were driving so dayum fast....but then i put 2 and 2 together...
smh...how pathetic is this?? cowards! this dudes in this car were maybe all about 6' 0" tall and i'm by myselef at 5'6" and these dudes have to speed up to dayum near 65 MPH to yell n!gger at some black dude that's all by himself??? i wasn't offended at all...i told my co workers about it and we just laughed...how pathetic...
this situation leads me to believe that most racist are like these white boys....cowards driving around in jeeps doing 100MPH yelling things at dudes while pumping thier fist in the air wearing wife beaters...smh...8-)
Well I honestly and truly cant remember the last time i was called a n*ggER to my face by a white person....but one of my friends will call me a n*gga everyday. I know I use the N word too much. I need to stop. :???:
yeah i dont know how the word **** got turned around from somethin that offended us if said by a white person, and now its used by us everyday to refer to ourselves....in music, televison, and real life....
I have never been called a **** to my face. If I was though, I think I'd lose my Christianity for a minute. I hate that word...it has so much hate and racism packed into it. I think I'd just go to jail that day.
I was on my way to Pre-College in 2003 and we stopped at a hotel in Tennessee. My mom parked under the thingie in front of the hotel lobby and got out along with my aunt. My friend and I were still in the car and noticed that a van parked behind us. The person in the back of the van was in a wheelchair and her husband got her out. He mean mugged us walking pass our car and said verbatim "Just like some niggers!" I guess he was mad cause he felt it was rude that he couldn't park closer to the door cause of his handicapped wife. We didn't notice she was handicapped still he passed by us and there was nothing we could do when my mom had the keys with her so we wasn't able to move the car anyways.
I was just in total shock... cause White people( and clueless Blacks) have claimed for the past few years that racism is almost non-existent and enver expected to hear that.
