I don't even know what to say to that, I would even give him the satifaction of thinking that he can make up some story and you believe him. If it was true or not, I would have stopped talking to him after #4 because friend or no friend( she sound like your enemy which is worse but even still) that would be just something I could never forgive, ill tell you this the best way to get over a relationship is to find some one better. It may sound like i'm making it too simple, but seriously, the time and effort you'll put into finding the right guy to spend your free time with will help to forget problems in the past. it worked for me, maybe it will for you. Most time if the feelings were true the pain never will leave, just because its there to remind you to never make the same mistake twice, never forget.
