okay, this is a question that may seem a lil' tricky....'cause it was a lil' tricky 4 me thinking about it, lol....so i'm gonna try to express it as best as i can....
okay......do you think that if there were NO consequences by MAN (jail, prison, death penalty, etc. etc.)....to commiting murder, ****, or any other harmful act upon another individual....BUT...the consequences of GOD (for those who believe in Him) after you die...remain....
....would the people who already haven't or don't do these types of things....continue to not do so? Or at least, do you think there would be a significant increase in the amount of people who do them?
and IF YOU DON'T think there would be way more people (if an increase at all) doing that stuff than there is now, how do you explain adultery and/or fornication? well in America, anyway...
there are no major punishments (as there are for murder, etc.) by MAN for these two things....and i'd say the majority of Americans probably commit either one or both, lol...
ANNNND......the final part of the question is....do you think that, when it ALL comes down to it....TRUTHFULLY....people would be more afraid of punishment given now, during life, by MAN...for something one has done......with the condition that no punishment would be suffered after death....
OR would people be more afraid of punishment given after death by God....with the condition that no punishment will be given to that person by man (or God) while living.....???
and you'd think the logical answer might be being more fearful of being punished by God after life....
but iiiiii'm noooooooot so suuuuuure about thaaaaat....
'cause think about people who successfully escape the justice system...from having commited cold-blooded ****....and don't think twice about it....yet ain't tryna go to prison or get the death penalty...
sounds to me like a situation where a person is fearing man more than God...
but i think we all do that (give man more credit than he deserves...in terms of how much fear he places in our lives...and God, less credit for it), to a certain degree.....but just thought i'd ask u all anyway what u thought of everything i asked......
Jameya, it is really too early in the morning for these questions....
Hey Jam, I was looking back at our current IM, u told me at 12:41 a.m. u were working on how to write this question, and u took this long to write it. Glad to see u putting thought in your threads
Honestly I don't think I have the heart to do something like that. Even now with having consequences I don't have the heart to do something like that. Now if I was a evil Mahfuggah then it'd be a whole new ballgame...

Can I still repent?
thats what i was about to ask
great question...
4 me 2 say yes would just make this question a lil' too easy, now wouldn't it....
so i'mma have to go with nope....couldn't repent...
and even if you do...you know that punishment by God in the life after death...is inevitable, regardless....
so it's either inevitable, unavoidable punishment by man...while still here.....or inevitable, unavoidable punishment by the Man Upstairs.....once you leave here....
so what's it gonna be?
and keep in mind....while I'm curious to know which all of you will choose....also answer what you think most people would opt for....and I don't just mean which they'd voluntarily choose.....I also mean what most will more than likely unconsciously...end up doing....
feel me?
if there r any more questions (for clarity...or whatever)....please feel free to ask!
i kept having to question myself when thinking of this whole scenario, ha...

I think the amount would increase, but for the most part there would be more people who are open w/ it. Ex. cheating and adultry were probaly looked upon by society like murder and **** is today, but because of the lack of consequences there is more insensitivity to those acts.
and IF YOU DON'T think there would be way more people (if an increase at all) doing that stuff than there is now, how do you explain adultery and/or fornication? well in America, anyway...

Man's punishment is 1). more immediate
2). More believeable to athiest or just people who aren't in touch w/ God.
So with that being said, people fear man's punishment more quick than God's.
OR would people be
more afraid of punishment given after death by God....with the condition that no punishment will be given to that person by man (or God) while living.....???
