This past sunday (June 5) Hot 97 hosted their annual summer jam concert. (It's one of hip hop's biggest concerts for those who are unfamiliar). So there was a plethora of artists performing from Dipset to Sizzla to Bobby Valentino. So anyways, Game was one of the artists. SO he comes out does a few songs then half way through his performance he yells out "G-G-G-G- U-NOT!". He went on to insult all the members of G-Unit (except young but for some reason) and he told the audience that G Unit gave him the boot. Then he got on 50 and how he never leaves his house and how if he wants to get down then he knows where to find game. Now I'm a G-Unit fan, but I'm also a Game fan...what do yall think of this?
Yea, I was actually there and in my opinion they should stop all the bull and make music...they both gonna get money reguardless so they should put all that energy on wax...
I'm glad. I've been thinking for the longest time that the Game needs to leave G-Unit (also needs a name change in my opinion). He didn't really fit in to me. I didn't like the game at first just because he was with G-Unit but when I actually started paying attention particularly to his music after he first split with G-Unit i noticed there was something a lil different with him as opposed to the others.
I think if he hooks up with the right label and the right cats he can do some great things in hiphop. Can't figure it out but there is something about him as an MC that i really like and i really want to see him utilized to his fullest potential... instead of being a pawn for 50...
Game is not leaving Aftermath.... 50 Cent is not leaving Shady/Aftermath... these two have had differences from the jump... the only reason Game was spittin G-Unit was for a business move made by Dre and Jimmy Iovine... to boost up sales... the only person Game is cool with from G-Unit is Young Buck (even though Buck doesn't feel the same)
now with that... 50, Banks, and Yayo all been down since childhood... and Buck came along when 50 and him were in juvi... so i can see how they are all down with each other, and have each others backs...
but Game is different... he does have more of his own mind, and he does want to do what he wants to do... he has his own vision (the Black WallStreet) and this whole G-Unit thing was nothing but to boost sales... 50 didn't really want Game on his imprint... Game did inherit a lot of beef for G-Unit, and they kinda left him hangin when other MCs was gettin on him...
I'ma fan of the Whole Aftermath fan... and they are all in the same camp... Dre and Em are gonna keep them seperated... but i think in the end they both gonna need each other... they make good music together... and this whole thing is petty...
Hov stole the show...and I think dipset should have came out later in the show when it was more hype cuz they were good too. Cuz i saw dipset on stage when I was just getting there
another issue i forgot to mention... last time i checked 50 hasn't really said too much more about the Game situation since the press conference, they ain't spoke since then, and they not going to anytime soon... i think Game needs to just leave it alone, and just blow up BlackWallStreet, and keep doing his thing... no need to keep dissin everybody just to escalate the situation...
