Well I don't believe it is right to attempt to discourage the young lady if she has her mind set on TU. Some people like TU and some don't. If she did her homework, visited, talked to people who liked TU and talked to those who don't like TU then she will get a better idea of what to expect at Tuskegee

i wasn't intending to discourage anyone... i just found it a lil off that she was all over the A&T orienation thread, and then switched it up to TU... if TU offered her more money, then by all means... go for it, check it out.. do whatever...i don't think me or Jeremy was intentionally discouraging her from the school.. :???:

So "think twice about that :???: :???: " wouldn't seem discouraging? Hey D, u going to be at A&T in the fall? Well, think twice about that :???: :???: That doesn't sound discouraging even a little bit?

i see your point... but i say this b/c i've seen people go where the money is.... and even when they attempt to make the most of the situation... they end up hating the school, the area, etc.... i really don't want to see another person end up like that... and then go and transfer to another school and start over again... and even if someone told me to think twice... i would think it over, do extended research, and NOT take it as being discouraging... i wasn't trying to make it seem negative.... maybe it came out negative, but it wasn't intended to be... it's all about how you take it... i guess maybe if i told you something like that, you'd take it as discouraging, but the way i perceive things, i'd use that to my advantage...
