i will be in bethune annex next semester @ howard u and i was wonder what the dorm rooms are like? are the rooms spacious? is there a lot of closet space? (maybe room dimensions...)

hey ashleigh. the rooms in the annex are decent in terms of space, but immaculate in terms of upkeep.I assume you're in a double. You will have a sink in your room and a full bath that you share with either 2 or 4 other people.
Damn, I see KillaTrav is tryna hit up the class of 2009 extra early.
in my opinion the annex is the nicest dorm on campus....a little strict on rules maybe, but no other dorm is as clean or has its own cafeteria. the rooms are relatively spacious, particularly if you are in a double.....i RARELY (translated: NEVER) run into someone who lives in the annex and feels like they dont have enough closet space

funny how our "cleanest" dorm has mice. :lol: I think we can let go of the whole "the annex is clean"..i'm still laughing at that mama on the news and how the dean of residence life ran away from the cameras and got in a car..****!

The annex is gr8.. I lived there for 2 years...
There shouldn't be ANY problem w/ closet space.. you have a suite closet as well as your own closet... DON'T plan on bringing your entire life with you to college tho.....

People always joke that the Annex would be the perfect dorm if it were co-ed... but that's basically the Towers minus a cafeteria. Really everyone knows Meridian is the best dorm
