I had a question about the deferrment payment method. Seeing that yall have been thru this and HU won't answer my calls or emails I decided to come here.
1). Would I still be able to pay my first payment on the deferrment plan AFTER august 1st?
2). Can I pay it when I have my scholarship/grant/loan money in my student account?
3). When are loans disbursed?
I'm so lost that it don't make sense.
1. You can pay the first deferred payment after August 1st but they apply a late fee. You won't get validated until you do pay and after a certain amount of time they will place a hold on your account.
2. Yeah I usually wait until they apply my scholarship money and loans because the bill they send me is never right.
3. Loan money is disbursed on the first day of classes.
ight just to confirm it all and be able to breath, your sayin that I can wait until the 29th to pay my first deferred payment?
yep, just know there will be a deferred payment fee (which i believe is $50) and there is a GOOD chance that they will apply a late fee
If you are paying with all loan money then there is no deferred payment fee or late fee..it just isnt in your account until the 29th (first day of classes)
THANKS alot for that info. My mother has been stressin to the point of getting delirious and it's been sittin in the back of my mind for a while. The administration wasn't answer the phone OR e-mails. Thanks again tho.
