simple question...what the hell is the deal with EVERYBODY wearing those rubber wristbands???...it's like it just popped up overnight...or are they just big down here in Atlanta

Yeah, lots of people wore those bands when I was at school. My wrist is too little so I couldn't wear them anyway.

I have 2 from some community service events i participated in. One was from Relay for Life and the other is from the **** Walk (in ATL). They are like the ribbon stickers on the back of cars.

I've seen some people wear them back in '03, but they have gotten more popular over the past year. A lot of people at my school wear them, they're like the "jelly" bracelets of the '00s. :neutral:

I like the wristbands. The meanings on them really don't relate to me, I just like to match them with my outfits.

What cracks me up is the cats walkin around with the pink/lavender cancer ones trying to act tough at the same time He's gangsta... but he wears pastel bands on his wrist for cancer... i guess if u can mean mug somebody with that on you really must be gangsta.

it really started after Lance Armstrong won his 3rd Tour de France... or was it his 6th? i don't know... the yellow was for him since he wore and won the Yellow Jersey for seven straight years...
