Why do you like your favorite teams?
I'm a Alabama Crimson Tide fan because 1/2 of my family is on the Tide side, and the other half are the AU Tiger fans. I started liking Alabama after they went undefeated in 1992. These days, I know 3 of the guys that play for them (Darby, Robinson, and Vic Horn). UA was my top college choice all through high school. 7-0! Roll Tide!I'm a Tennessee Titans fan because some of my older relatives were big Earl Campbell (Houston Oilers) fans. I grew up liking Warren Moon because of their influence. Think of how happy we were when the moved about 100 miles north of our town (from Houston to Nashville) in the mid 90s! Plus, their first pick after moving to Nashville was Joey Kent from the Tennessee Vols. His folks are family friends, and he graduated from the same high school I went to, 10 years before I graduated from it.I'm a Laker fan (again) because of my older relatives. We were always laker fans. Even when they struggled through the 90's. Kobe's making it hard to be a Laker fan these days, tho.
So why do ya'll like who you like?
Well ima Temple fan cuz no other college represents Philly more than temple......added to the fact that i go there.
Ima Eagles fan cuz of my dad and cuz of the fact that i love my CITY and have a passion for the hometown team ( im that way wit all philly teams)
and i like Chelsea FC cuz they come on tv a lot and they win...and they got lots of good players and their coach is funny as hell...and a billionaire owns us whos not afraid to pay for good players!
Imma Skins, Wizards, Caps, Mystic, Nationals, and DC united fan because dammit im Homer, i love the teams in my home...
and i like the Pacers because i always loved the way Reggie Miller used to **** the knicks back in the day...but now no more reggie, no more love from me.
il ike the pistons because first im a homer and second i can still remember my dad goin crazy back in the day when they won back to back championships...i cant believe i actually remembered parts of that...but i stuck with them through the hard times in the 90's and im reapin the benefits now....CHAMPIONSHIP '06
like the lions because again im a homer...i dont care if they suck...im a real fan and one day all this waitin for a superbowl is gonna pay off lol...
