Yea I just saw this on CNN.com and heard it on The Russ Parr show at around the same time........... A strong black woman..........she will be missed and can never be replaced

very sad indeed :sad: i saw this on Mike and Mike in the morning on the bottom line... i was shocked... but she's on to a better place, and i just hope her family gets through this okay... (thinks about that MLK episdoe of the Boondocks)

I cried when I found out....ahhh to me 78 is not that old but I was watching Oprah the other day and this guy on there said that your "real" age is based on your lifestyle/what you've been through....and if anyone has been through a LOT...it had to've been her.

much accomplished life...i hope they name merietta street after her...that way, MLK jr. drive and coretta-scoot king drive meet rigth in the center of atlanta. and then they can make some civl rights memorial like near 5 points or something. they'd be a cool tribute.
