Anbody have any idea of when this takes place and what we do there? I'm just curious cuz I'm not hearin' nothing from JSU right now and I don't know if I did everything that was supposed to be done by now.
I know that the freshamn experience is different for everybody, but I have NO IDEA of what to expect, so if somebody could drop some knowledge...that would be lovely. Also, what should I expect from the dorms? Nice or not so nice? Just curious. Activities on campus? Professors? I just got A LOT of questions, but I won't burden whoever answers this with too many. So, that's it!
Thankz in advance to anyone who takes the time to answer.
Orientation normally takes place a day or two before registration begins. If you're just now getting to campus, there's a good chance you may have missed it.
They're basically going to tell you how to get adjusted to life on campus, how to deal with registration, making good decisions (including money and friends) and which department to go to when problems arise as well as other stuff. I will admit, it is somewhat boring, but they give you good info, so take a notebook and a pen.
You will hear about various activities as the year goes on. Be on the lookout for announcements and fliers.
I don't know what to say about the professors because I'm sure several have left since I graduated several years ago. Whoever they are, listen to them and try your best to get your work done.
The main thing is to relax...It's gonna take you about a month to get adjusted to life on campus.
