Pfizer

At Pfizer, we want to attract the best and brightest talent, and ensure all our colleagues can thrive in an environment and culture where diversity and inclusion is championed around the world, so we can innovate and enable breakthroughs that change patients’ lives.

We are determined to make Pfizer an amazing workplace for all. Our approach to customers who need our medicines and therapies is one of equity - we want everyone to have equal access to healthcare and to accessible and affordable drugs. That approach also exists inside our business, because we believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard and respected for who they are.

Because of this, we have embedded Diversity & Inclusion leads all over the world and regional D&I leadership. We’re building inclusive leaders, recruiting and developing diverse talent, making D&I an integral part of our business and talent planning, and encouraging everyone who works here to act as an ally of equity.

Diversity and inclusion make good sense for business. At Pfizer, it’s more than that. It’s who we are. We’ll help you and all your colleagues reach your full potential.

Colleague Resource Groups

You may want to get involved in one of our site-based Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs). They focus on diversity throughout the organization including Global Blacks Community, Pfizer Women’s Resource Group, Global Asian Alliance, Out Pfizer Employee Network (OPEN), Veterans in Pfizer (VIP), disAbility and Pfizer Latino Community.

CRGs are groups of colleagues who are part of or just believe in the goals of a diverse population. They offer support, developmental opportunities, mentoring, and networking opportunities to help their members enhance their skills and advance their careers - everything from sound advice about work/life balance to actively changing policies around accessibility. They also contribute their unique backgrounds and viewpoints to help advance Pfizer's business, and get involved as a group in volunteer and philanthropic activities. To help us build on the solid foundation our CRGs have provided, we have also developed strong partnerships with a number of external organizations including:

Catalyst – This is a global nonprofit working with some of the world’s most powerful CEOs and leading companies to help build workplaces that work for women. Founded in 1962, Catalyst drives change with pioneering research, practical tools, and proven solutions to accelerate and advance women into leadership—because progress for women is progress for everyone.

The Executive Leadership Council – This is an independent non-profit founded in 1986 that opens channels of opportunity for the development of Black executives to positively impact business and our communities. Comprising more than 800 current and former black CEOs, senior executives and board directors at Fortune 1000 and Global 500 companies, and entrepreneurs at top-tier firms, its members work to build an inclusive business leadership pipeline that empowers global black leaders to make impactful contributions to the marketplace and the global communities they serve.

HACR – Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility – Founded in 1986, HACR’s mission is to advance the inclusion of Hispanics in Corporate America at a level commensurate with economic contributions in the areas of Employment, Procurement, Philanthropy, and Governance.

As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.

Disability:IN –The leading nonprofit resource for business disability inclusion worldwide, they have a network of over 185 corporations expands opportunities for people with disabilities across enterprises. Ascend - Pan Asian Leaders - Ascend is the largest, non-profit Pan-Asian organization for business professionals in North America. Established in 2005, Ascend has grown to serve professionals and corporations across various professions and across multiple industries.

Community Building

Whether it's sponsoring scholarships for students, or health fairs focused on the unique healthcare concerns of diverse populations, Pfizer's CRGs are as much about external community-building as they are about internal culture-building.

And at Pfizer, the world is our community: we sponsor and support many philanthropic initiatives, such as our signature Global Health Fellows program, that help bring life-saving and health-enhancing medicines and healthcare practices to all corners of the globe.
