About   (request update)
I am a French native speaker. My excellent academic background combined with my twenty years of teaching and tutoring experiences, national and international, of French language, culture, and literature in many Community Colleges of New York City with multi-cultural/multi-bilingual student body, with different social backgrounds, levels, and ages, my pragmatic classroom management, and my determination to witness my students progressing to meet standards toward end – of – semester, give me a strong philosophy of education to achieve goals and that could be a great asset to that position I apply for. I possess the ability to perform well under pressure, to prioritize, to work in a self – discipline environment, to inspire, to motivate, and to energize students to meet those standards.
My Interview Question
Why would you make friend with an enthusiatic, experienced, and motivated French Teacher?
Current Whereabouts:
I am tutoring all over New York City, writing pedagogic reflections, childre's books, practicing my favorite sport - Martial arts.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I received a Master of Science for Teachers (MST) from Pace University School of Education, New York City Campus, New York, in 2004, with Honor, and hence have become a Kappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society in Education. I also plan to start my Doctorate Degree. It is a great challenge for me I have really enjoyed because it is rewarding to bring someone up to master the four steps of learning French language: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. I also have opportunities to develop and to create workshops and French clubs and to assume responsibilities in extra-curricular activities such as advising, coaching, mentoring, and tutoring.
