Most Memorable Moment:
I attended the Think Tank for African American Progress Conference in Memphis, TN. There I served as the student ambassador for our Black Male Initiative organization on campus and as the club's liaison to the Student Government Association. The question posed to us was, “What is the Future for Black Boys?” I co-presented educational research on young adult men of color in the educational system to help answer that question. I also learned about bridging the gap and leadership.
High School: Jamaica High School in Jamaica, NY class of 2006

Activities & Accomplishments:
Soccer Team Regents Diploma Various Academic Awards
Best Memories:
I used to play defensive midfield on my high school's soccer team. I was also captain of the team. One game, while defending my goal, I had to give the opponent a very rough tackle, not too rough. However, in doing so, I dislocated my shoulder. As captain of the team, I refused to leave the game and played the rest of the game with my shoulder rapped, then went to the doctor afterwards.
