I am a young fashion designer, with a strong background in design, sewing-tailoring, pattern making, drawing and CAD. I also have basic marketing and business knowledge and experience, and great enthusiasm and motivation to grow in this field.
Being raised between Spain, Switzerland, the US, and Italy gave me the opportunity to engage with various cultures from a very young age, allowing me to gain strong interpersonal skills and develop my creativity. This experience also meant adapting to various school-systems and work environments, for which I credit my capacity to learn quickly and thrive in competitive and fast-paced settings. I am a native English and Spanish speaker, and I am proficient in French and Italian, having studied in all these languages.
I am both a good team player and an independent and proactive worker. I particularly enjoy brainstorming and learning with colleagues who share a passion for fashion, and I am ready to hit the ground running and take on challenging projects from beginning to end.
Having a solid work ethic and ambitious goals are central to my approach to any job: I am organized, responsible, and determined. I know that giving my best also requires honesty, empathy, patience, and respect for others.
Being detail-oriented, while capturing the bigger-picture, is a quality I truly admire and work to put into practice on a daily basis. For as long as I can remember I have been dreaming of working and living in NYC, as one of the leading fashion capitals of the world. Moreover, this position’s specific requirements perfectly describe my personality and training.
Current Whereabouts:
My pure love is always focused on embellishments: embroidery and stones/beads work. (Evening Wear)
Another fun project is making costumes for theme parties or festivals. (Fusion of Fashion and Art)
Finally got very creative and will start decorating masks.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I would love to have a successful clothing line of my own.
I would be very happy having a good position in a well stablished firm or at least one that I really like. To feel inspired and create beautiful wearable unique pieces.
Belonging to a design department related to my highest passion, such as hand sewing embellishment and playing with fabrics and new technics.
If possible keep the mind and our values around sustainability fashion and grow within a team and individually too.
Keep participating in the preparation of fashion shows and being useful at the backstage.
