Kailen Robinson-Jones is a sophomore at Tuskegee University majoring in Animal, Poultry & Veterinary Sciences. An aspiring veterinarian, she gained hands-on experience as a Veterinary Technician Intern at Paris Road Animal Hospital, assisting with patient care, laboratory diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, medication preparation, and surgical support. Kailen is currently using a gap semester to work, save, pursue scholarships, and continue building animal-care experience before returning to Tuskegee. Her long-term goal is to create a one-stop animal-care center offering veterinary services, emergency care, grooming, specialty products, and resources for animals of all kinds. She hopes to become a veterinarian, business owner, advocate, and mentor to future women in STEM.
