I am an incoming freshman at Howard University pursuing a degree in counseling psychology, driven by a deep commitment to making mental health accessible to underserved communities. Throughout high school I maintained a 4.3 GPA, graduated in the top 3% of my class, and earned First Honor Roll every marking period. I served as a multi year Track and Field Team Captain, elected Class President, Appointed Executive Treasurer of Student Government, and founded my school's Soccer Club. I accumulated 175+ community service hours across my church, school, and athletic community, and served as a Youth Soccer Coach mentoring 25 players. I plan to open my own counseling practice, build mental health platforms through social media, and conduct research on emotional regulation within Black communities
