Claim To Fame:
My 'Claim To Fame' moment so far at Florida A&M University was when I was selected for a solo in the FAMu Gospel Choir during our anniversary spring concert. This was my first solo, and it has allowed our choir director to notice that I was truly a soprano rather than the alto I had claimed to be, and has given me the opportunity to audition for a soprano section leader.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moment was my first FAMU football game in the Bragg Memorial Stadium. During this game, I felt what it was like to feel truly united in a university. To understand what 'famuly' meant because everyone was connected, repping our school, showing Black pride, and cheering on every time we scored and we won that game as well. It was an amazing feeling, and seeing so many people who looked like me, while in tune with everyone around them, was surreal.
