I am a Junior at Southern University and A&M College with a major in Social Work. I plan on graduating the Fall of 2015. I am also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in the Beta Alpha Chapter in Baton Rouge, LA. In the 2013-2014 sorority year, I served as my chapter's Basileus.
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently in to anything Social Work. I am so focused on graduation that I haven't been able to anything but focus on my near future career.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My professional aspirations are to become a HIV/AIDS counselor. Although it is a very rare interest it is what I hope to do in the near future. As an African American woman I feel that everyone should be well educated about HIV/AIDS before contacting it and if they do contact the disease have someone to help with making the transition and live a normal life.

Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame was that I was among the first group of students at Southern University and A&M College to go around campus and teach freshman students about the importance of practicing safe sex, the importance of getting tested for HIV/AIDS, and how to properly use contraceptives.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moments had to be the HIV/AIDS awareness events that I helped organize on my campus. The group that I worked with would host SHILE workshops and other events geared towards educating freshman student about the importance of protection in regards to sexual acts.

Best Memories:
My high school would host an annual renaissance fest. which was when students who had maintained Honor Roll for the entire school year would be recognized and rewarded.
