I am a first-year policy studies major with a minor in leadership studies and poverty and social justice. I’m passionate about social justices present in the larger and smaller communities around the world. After engaging in insightful conversations in my Global Experience course and other Freshman courses, the overlapping theme that presented itself to me is the oppression of certain minority groups. I would like to further delve into the historical and present day systematic ways in which minorities are oppressed, and understand the ways in which these issues are being addressed in present day society. I am seeking an internship in Public Policy.
