1. Pledging Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. 2. Freshman year when we protested and got the school to get rid of the dress code and curfew. 2. Summer internship at Lincoln University (PA) Actuarial Institute Summer 71. Met my husband there.
High School: Howard School in Chattanooga, TN class of 1968
 
Activities & Accomplishments:
Mu Alpha Theta; National Honor Society; Regional Science Fair (1st in Math senior year); senior awards for Mathematics and Chemistry (though Physics was my second love).
Best Memories:
Graduation, singing our class song "Lead Me, Guide Me"; First flight to attend National Science Symposium at Iowa State University senior year; Science Fair awards night, senior year, April 4, 1968, leaving the ceremony at the University of Chattanooga (now UTC) to learn of Marin Luther King's assassination in Memphis.
