About   (request update)
Healthcare professional with 7+ years of experience in academic medical centers, including NYU Langone and NewYork-Presbyterian. Expertise in CAP, CLIA, and NYSDOH regulatory compliance, inspection readiness, laboratory quality systems, and health data analytics. Skilled in developing regulatory crosswalks, optimizing Epic Beaker/LIS workflows, and building executive dashboards to drive data-informed decisions. MBA graduate and DHA candidate at Morehouse School of Medicine, focused on advancing health equity through strategic, innovative healthcare solutions.
Current Whereabouts:
I currently serve in healthcare operations, focusing on regulatory compliance and quality improvement while pursuing my Doctor of Health Administration. I volunteer with Autism Speaks, God’s Love We Deliver, and Hunger Free America, advocating for inclusion, mental health, hunger relief, and poverty awareness.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My life and professional aspirations are deeply rooted in spiritual growth and purposeful service. My greatest attribute is my commitment to spiritual development. It centers me, strengthens my resilience, and shapes how I lead. I believe leadership begins internally, and when faith, integrity, and reflection guide your actions, your impact extends far beyond titles or positions. At the core of everything I do is a simple but powerful message: you matter. I am motivated to remind people of their worth, especially in systems that can feel overwhelming or impersonal. Whether in healthcare, community spaces, or personal interactions, I strive to create environments where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. Professionally, I aspire to advance equitable and compassionate healthcare systems. As a healthcare leader and doctoral scholar, I am committed to strengthening compliance, improving operational integrity, and building innovative models that bridge gaps between prevention and care. I want to ensure that data leads to action, screenings lead to treatment, and policies translate into real change for underserved communities. Beyond my career, I am passionate about mental health advocacy, hunger relief, and poverty alleviation. I believe true health equity requires addressing emotional well-being and basic human needs. I love feeding people. For me, nourishment represents dignity, connection, and love. Ultimately, I aspire to leave a legacy of impact: improving systems, uplifting communities, and consistently reminding others that their lives have value and purpose.

Most Memorable Moment:
One of my most memorable college moments was attending my first cultural college retreat at Binghamton University. I grew up fairly sheltered, often staying within what felt safe and familiar, so stepping into that experience felt both exciting and intimidating. The retreat was vibrant and transformative. Surrounded by culture, community, and the sounds of soca and reggae, music I’ve always loved, I felt something shift within me. The rhythms, laughter, and celebration of Caribbean identity created a space where I felt free to fully express myself. For the first time, I truly came out of my shell. I danced confidently, engaged openly, and embraced being present. That retreat wasn’t just a trip, it was a breakthrough moment that expanded my confidence and helped shape the bold, expressive woman I continue to grow into today.
