About   (request update)
I was born and raised in Washington, DC, and I am the child of entrepreneurs who built a successful mom-and-pop business. Growing up in this environment gave me first-hand experience with the importance of entrepreneurship, ownership, and creating pathways toward generational wealth—especially within the Black community. It shaped my belief in the power of building something of your own and using business as a tool for opportunity and empowerment.

A defining moment in my life was helping my parents rebuild their store after it was destroyed during a random looting incident. Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame in college is raising awareness and advocating for sustainability and responsible sourcing in the fashion industry. I’ve worked to promote more ethical practices and challenge fast-fashion norms by encouraging conscious consumption and transparency in supply chains. At the same time, I’ve been committed to helping remove barriers for minority students interested in fashion, creating more inclusive pathways into an industry that has traditionally lacked diversity. My goal is to contribute to a future where fashion is both sustainable and equitable.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moment was leading a class discussion as a student teacher on issues connected to sustainability and responsible sourcing in fashion. I guided my peers through conversations about the environmental and ethical impact of the fashion industry, encouraging them to think critically about consumption habits, supply chains, and industry responsibility. It was especially meaningful to connect these ideas to my broader advocacy work, including promoting a more sustainable future for fashion and helping to break down barriers for minority students entering the field. Leading that discussion reinforced my passion for education, leadership, and driving meaningful change within the industry.
