In college, I will join student associations in college that will lay the groundwork and give me the tools to build a strong foundation for a career in politics. I dream of becoming a politician and activist like Shirley Chisholm, because I refuse to sit back and not use my voice and seek change. America�s current sociopolitical climate is slowly but steadily devolving, back to times that even my grandparents fought to secure their rights in. I hope to gain the knowledge and experience to reshape America into the values that it, albeit falsely, claimed to have been forged in.
