About   (request update)
I am a third year BSN candidate at Hampton University with hands on clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings. My clinical training includes Medical Surgical nursing on the 4th floor at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Labor and Delivery clinical experience, and previous experience at Newport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Through these experiences, I have developed skills in patient assessment, therapeutic communication, teamwork, and providing patient centered care to diverse populations. I am BLS certified, a Merit Scholar, and have been recognized for leadership and service through roles such as Mister Midwest for Hampton University’s Pre Alumni Council. I am passionate about healthcare, advocacy, and using both nursing and leadership to create meaningful impact.

Claim To Fame:
My “claim to fame” in college is not really a title or position. I think it is the person I decided to become once I got to Hampton. Growing up as an only child who skipped a grade, I often felt out of place socially. I was usually younger than the people around me, and because I moved around a lot growing up, stability was not always something I had. I spent a lot of my life adapting to new environments instead of truly feeling connected to one. I became comfortable being by myself because that was what I knew. When I got to college, I saw it as a chance to change that. I wanted to become the man I envisioned for myself and stop sitting on the sidelines of my own life. I made it a goal to become involved and create impact wherever I could. I helped start S.O.L.A.C.E., an organization centered around building community, support, and creating a space where students could feel connected and empowered. I also joined multiple executive boards, became Mister Midwest through Hampton’s Pre Alumni Council where I represented my region and strengthened alumni and student connections, and joined the Greer Dawson Wilson Student Leadership Program, one of the most respected leadership organizations on campus. More important than the positions themselves were the relationships and growth that came from them. I came to Hampton looking for stability and connection, and I found both. I built a community, created meaningful relationships, and became a person who could positively impact others. My claim to fame is not the titles I earned. It is that I came to college wanting to rewrite my story and I did exactly that.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of my most memorable college moments was spending an entire summer on campus with my nursing cohort. What started as just classes became much more because being around each other almost every day created real bonds. Some of my favorite memories were going to the beach together, hosting large study groups and activities to keep each other involved, and sitting around sharing stories about the struggles and experiences that brought us all to Hampton. As nursing students, we all understood the pressure and sacrifices it took to get there, so being able to build those connections and look around with a sense of pride for one another is something I will always carry with me.
