Current Whereabouts:

I am currently a high school student in The Bahamas, mostly focused on getting ready for college life and thinking about how I want to get involved on campus. I�m really interested in multicultural affairs and being part of spaces where students from different backgrounds can connect and feel included. As someone from The Bahamas, I would also love to join a Caribbean Students Association so I can stay connected to my culture and find a sense of community while away from home. I�m also interested in student government because I want to grow as a leader and have a voice in student life. Alongside that, I care a lot about women�s empowerment and groups like Girls Who Lead, where I can learn from others, build confidence, and support other young women as well.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

I am deeply interested in biology research, with a particular focus on cancer treatment, immunology, and cellular biology. My long term aspiration is to contribute to scientific discoveries that improve how cancer is understood, prevented, and treated. I am especially fascinated by how cells function, how the immune system responds to disease, and how those processes can be studied to develop more effective and targeted therapies. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in biomedical research where I can work in laboratories, collaborate with scientists, and contribute to advancements that save lives. I am committed to building a strong academic foundation in the biological sciences, developing critical research skills, and gaining hands on experience that will prepare me for graduate study and beyond. Ultimately, I want my work to help advance healthcare and make a meaningful impact on individuals and communities affected by cancer and immune related diseases.
