Hello, I'm Shayla Mitchell, a Political Science major at Howard University with a strong background in leadership, agriculture, public service, and civic engagement. I bring over four years of experience in agricultural volunteering, school work programs, event coordination, and leadership through FFA at the regional, state, and national levels. As an Honor Graduate (Magna Cum Laude) and member of the National Honor Society, I have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and personal growth. My skills include teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and effective communication, complemented by certifications in workplace safety, First Aid/CPR, and financial literacy. I have organized, mentored youth, and worked to create a positive change through leadership and service.

Current Whereabouts:

I'm currently into a variety of music and art; I enjoy bowling, exploring new foods, and spending time outdoors. I'm also passionate about agriculture, community service, academic achievement, and preparing for my future career goals. In my free time, I love fashion, animals, and rewatching shows like Stranger Things. Most importantly, I'm focused on personal growth, creating positive energy, and building a meaningful future.
