Undergrad Major: Environmental Science

Claim To Fame:

People know me for being funny and for track. My teammates know me for being a hard worker. I am most proud of getting 4th place in my conference track meet as a freshman in the 800m run. The biggest setback I overcame was figuring out how I would pay off my first semester balance, and I was able to get help from my coach. I am running track and field at Central State University on scholarship and majoring in Exercise Science to become an athletic trainer. I am a big leader on my team, pushing teammates and encouraging them in practice to be better. I have worked really hard to keep a 3.2 GPA, which can be hard with all the traveling I have to do during the season, and I also work at Subway. I am a first-generation college student, and I hope to get my degree and impact as many people�s lives in a good way as I can. I want people to remember me as someone who was always there for them when they needed help and as a guy who works as hard as he can with anything he does. My coaches would say that I am a hard worker as well.

Most Memorable Moment:

My most memorable college moments were running at HBCU Nationals, keeping above a 3.0 GPA, getting a suite for free, the step show at homecoming, and all the people I met during my first year. These moments stand out to me because they showed me what I could accomplish both on and off the track while also helping me build new friendships and experiences that I will remember throughout college.
