About   (request update)
Current Whereabouts:
Right now I'm in the middle of the fall term, taking Math 65, Colloquium (a required class for incoming freshman and transfer students) and a Intro to Lit class(Eng 104). It's a load full for me because I'm not exactly used to college life yet. But I'm doing ok in the classes.
Education   (request update)
Southern University class of 2006
Undergrad Major: Teaching English as a Second Language
Claim To Fame:
I don't expect "fame" during college. I don't expect fame after either, but what I do expect is a decent recognition from all the work I've invested. I want all my efforts to make something out of myself to be paid off. I didn't just waste 4 years of my life in college to just forget about it and be an ignorant person. If anything else, I want to build myself up for the work I do and therefore be recognized for knowing what I know, for teaching how I teach. But to "claim my fame"... I can hardly say I feel that now. I first need to earn my recognition. Then help the community and fellow students.
Most Memorable Moment:
So far, I haven't really had a "memorable" event in college. There was a "Making College Happen" program for High School students about two days ago that I was part of. I was on one of the student panels to be questioned by H.S students. That was really ambarrassing because I did not expect to be the center of attention. But I guess I have to get used to being the center of attention if I want to succeed in college. But afterwards, I felt pretty good to have been part of this program because I felt that I was helping helpless students in making a decision to enter the college life.
