Claim To Fame:
I plan on moving to another state where I can live and get the experience I need to start my on business. When this is accounted for, I will then move back to my home town, Winnsboro, LA, so that I can give back to the community from once it gave me. In addition to that, being elected major and teaching at Franklin High for advanced math will be of great pleasure to me and the people of Winnsboro. This is all in favor of expanding and building the confidence and education in the black community.
Most Memorable Moment:
Dr. Hodges, my Humanties 201 professor, will be remembered for the statememnt he made in class April 30th, 2004. He said we African-Americans are 75% born in a single parent household compared to the Caucasian which are 25%. He also stated that studies by sociologists explicated that in addition to being a victim of a single parent household, the victim is usually less to finish grade school, becomes pregnant, lives in poverty, always in trouble, have emotional problems and more. Which sums up, it takes two parents to raise a child.
