The contest begins on Wednesday May 15th, 2013.
Are you ready to use your writing, acting, musical or directing talents to create a video to win a scholarship? Set your lights, get your camera, and start the action now; GotChosen is giving away 5 scholarships for this contest. Open to United States and international students, 18 years or older. The contest is offered to all fields of study. The contest will have two phases: Phase One: Capture your best on video, upload it to YouTube*, create your entry, and get all your family and friends to vote for you! The Top 20 videos with the most votes will move to Phase Two. Phase One deadline: July 31, 2013. Phase Two: A panel of judges will vote for the best of the best and GotChosen will award one grand prize winner a $3000 scholarship and 4 runner-ups a $250 scholarship each. Here are the 5 categories you can choose to create your video: Best Original Music: Share your talent with an original musical piece (song or instrumental). Friends: Create a video about what the word "friends" means to you. Best Trip Ever: Make a video about your favorite travel adventures. Nature: Show us the beauty of nature. Helping Hands: What are you doing to make a difference? * You must upload your video to YouTube, and then paste the link into the "Create New Entry" form. GotChosen reserves the right to remove any video that contains content that is deemed offensive in accordance to the specifications outlined in GotChosen’s Rules and Regulations and at its sole discretion. | |
