100 Black Men of America Future Leader Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors as well as college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. The scholarship is based on academic achievement and community service.

To qualify, students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or above. To apply, students will be asked to complete a 600-word essay on one of four topics.

Eligible students include high school seniors and college undergraduate students attending or planning to attend full-time a U.S. accredited, post-secondary institution. Leadership is an important requirement for this scholarship. It can include holding an office position in school or within another organization. It can also include activities they have done that directly benefited their community.

The scholarship is offered by 100 Black Men of America, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting programs that improve communities and those in them and also increase educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. The organization was formed in 1963 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000 - $2,000.
