You know how it goes: you read the words "Once upon a time..." and you automatically know you're going to be reading a fairy tale. And whether you grew up with Disney or Grimms' versions, you also know pretty much how all of them go. Snow White gets lazy about her chores, Cinderella has a midnight curfew, and Hansel and Gretel meet a delicious demise. But what about the parts of the stories we don't know? Or what if the stories we're familiar with didn't actually happen that way? What is your interpretation of a classic fairy tale?
