Inquire Higher is a resource network that promotes the success of Black students and professionals. It will award The Black Student Success Scholarship to one Black high school senior with $1,000 who plans to enter college in Fall 2022! We understand that every dollar counts, and want to provide a student with the opportunity to create one less worry as they begin their college journey.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Must currently hold a 2.75 unweighted, cumulative GPA or higher
- High school senior at the time of submitting the application
- Planning to attend a U.S., four-year college/university in Fall 2022
- Be of Black or African American descent
- Can demonstrate leadership and community service involvement
- Can demonstrate financial need

Instructions:

1) Please complete the form below.
2) In a separate Word document, answer one of the following questions in 300-500 words:

One of the reasons many Black students are limited in their potential career paths is because they see few Black professionals in a wider variety of fields. After you earn your degree, how do you plan to normalize Black excellence as you start your career journey and help strengthen the next generation?

3) Upload the following documents at the bottom of the form:

Essay response
Unofficial high school transcript(s)
FAFSA confirmation with your EFC OR complete the DACA Student Information Form (see below)

4) Please have two letters of recommendations sent to inquirescholarships@gmail.com directly from your recommenders. Please have them include your name and "Fall 2022" in the subject line.

Deadline to submit ALL application materials is May 31st, 2022 by 11:59pm PST.
