i mean, yeah....older blacks say some corny stuff too, but the elderly whites r REALLY good 4 that....
strangers...teachers (mostly those that teach high school & before)....store cashiers...esPECially strangers though....when u're around them for more than like 2 minutes....it's ok they feel comfortable and r friendly enough to strike up a convo. w/ u...but they say some CORNY stuff in the convo...& be about 2 lose a LUNG from laughin' so hard @ what they just said too!
i went 2 go vote 2day....had 2 wait about a half-hour in line....& the whole time, there is this white man & woman standin' in front of me...in their maybe late '40s...early 50s....
& dag near the WHOLE time, i kept feelin' the white man lookin' @ me in the corner of my eye....so i'd look @ him & do the friendly smile thing...but eventually, i wanted 2 be like, WHAT?!
so ultimately, that'z how they struck up a convo...the man commented on my "I love America; I don't like Bush" button i had on...talkin' about some, "u're not campaigning r u? ha ha haha ha" . . .
i was like "no....but they'll probably make me take it off once i get up there"...
he was like, "oh no, u're fine...whoever doesn't know who they're voting for by now, oh well...u're not gonna make me change my mind about who i'm voting for!! hahah ha hahahha"

this happens to me a lot....& actually his comments aren't as bad as i've heard from others....they really think they be funny...that'z what'z so hilarious....& i'm such a friendly & cordial person, so i'm not gonna make 'um feel dumb, but damn....

LOL...pretty much can't stand it when older white folkz say very corny thingz they think r real funny....& expect u to bust a gut w/ 'em when they say it
it'z like older people have a completely different sense of humor than us...well, older whitez....but even some older blackz too...

I know when I use to volunteer at nuring homes and u talking to the old white people...and they make corney **** jokes. Half the time I dont get the jokes, but I laugh to be polite...but I like talking to old black people for ALITTLE while...cause they WILL talk your ear off...They always got good stories from " back in the day " and they aways have alot of wisdom you can learn from...
