be4 2day, she wuz TOO UPSET R. Kelly wouldn't be in it anymore...'cuz that was her PRIMARY REASON 4 EVEN GOIN' IN THA 1ST PLACE!!!
she said she wuzn't tryna see ANYONE ELSE in place of him...NO ONE - SHE DID NOT WANNA GO...
but she iz SO happy she went anyway...she had a GRRRRRRRREAT TIME!!!
she said Foxxy Brown performed....P. Diddy KILT IT....Mary J. Blige REALLY KILT IT (& my mom'z even looking 4ward 2 seein' her in concert again if she ever come 2 town by herself...me too!)..she said she REALLY outdid herself!!!
but no.......the GREATEST SURPRISE of the night for her....D M X!!!!!!!!
my mama said she wuz NO GOOD when DMX came out there....aiight, keep in mind she LOVE her some DMX...so yeah if NO ONE else guest starred w/ Jay-Z @ that concert, DMX wuz tha 1 for my mama 2 have been in attendance!!!!!!!
she even said when he 1st came out, aside from her wilin', she started shoutin' out, "AHH!! THAS MY BABY DADDY!! THAS MY BABY DADDY!!!!" . . . let me find out DMX iz my father :? lol my mama iz a NUT!
i am SOOOOOOOOOO happy she had a great time 'cuz i felt really bad she wouldn't get 2 see her Kelz like she had paid her ticket 4....
she said that concert wuz EXCELLENT.....NOTHING LESS....even tho she'd seen Jay-Z in concert be4 (w/ me), she said HE wuz OFF THA CHAIN as well!!!!!!!!!!!

OH yeah...& throughout tha whole evening & night, my mama kept BLOWIN' UP MY CELL...leavin' voice messagez & ish...& i'd check the voice messagez & would hear NOTHIN BUT CONCERT IN THA BACKGROUND...
couldn't tell WHAT was goin' on...or WHO wuz doin' WHAT...jus random singin' & rappin'...
& she kept CALLIN' & CALLIN'...& once i got back 2 my room, she had CALLED my dag on room...& wuz STILL callin'...i wuz like WTF?!? i thought she didn't realize she wuz callin' me, so i kept tryna get her attention so she'd watch her phone....

when she called me this last time 2night...she explained 2 me that she wuz tryna capture the concert on tape :? & wuz hopin' i wouldn't pick up so she could get it on my answering machine. . .i wuz like.....MOTHER...#1, can we say G-H-E-T-T-O....& #2, u could NOT hear everything goin' on...
she said she knowz, she had just figured it out be4 she called me this last time 'cuz she had tried 2 record as much as possible onto our home answering machine too

YOur mums sounds like mine, a true mother to her heart, but a good friend as well.
It's nice when the folks have common passions, music or hobbies as us--something to talk about besides when we f' up.

i went a month ago @ A&T's Homecoming Concert w/ him & Kelz 4 the "Best of Both Worlds" Tour...
i wuz actually gonna go AGAIN this time when R. Kelly wuz still apart of the show & i 1st found out they were comin' to Raleigh....but this would've made my 3rd time seeing 'em (me & my mom went 2 see 'em both in separate concertz some yearz ago) & i figured i should probably better-spend tha money :lol:...& i did :arrow:
