how many of u have ever had that person (u're interested in) who maybe directly or indirectly puts u on the backburner...or TRIES to make u Plan B...only until Plan A goes wrong or whateva...then they try 2 come get @ u & exPECT u 2 still be around & respond?!?!?
there's a dude like that in my life (from school)...& really everything has been off & on the whole summer (not even us talkin' - just keepin' in contact & being "friendz"...if thas what u wanna call it...well nah, acquaintances)...
& we haven't talked now on tha phone 4 some weekz...but every now & then, we'll get on aim & can't have a descent convo. 4 more than 2 secondz w/out him trippin' & us gettin into it...over NOTHIN, really...
but this is the thing...back in this past semester...there was a point when i was a lil interested in tha brotha...but during that time & afterwards, i knooow he was talkin' 2 this otha chick...messin' around w/ her & whatnot...but it wasn't until the beginning of the summer that he tried 2 get all cool w/ me again & CLAIM that he & that girl were never talkin', when LIKE I SAID, i KNOW otherwise...
& so THAT is pretty much what this summer b/t us has consisted of...it reeeeeally botherz him 2 know that i'm no longer into him like that & i just wanna be friends...but see it pisses me off that he has enough nerve 2 actually think i'd sit & WAIT 4 him 2 come around...put my love life on hold, etc. etc...& i'm the type of person that, a good majority of time, if i make up in my mind that i can't be into u (4 whateva reason)...i end up being successful...particularly if there is another female in the picture that u KNOW u care a lot more about & have strong feelingz 4...
i ain't the type to interfere (or ****)...i'mma let u do u & if that's the case, u gotta let me do me...right?
last time we spoke...which was on aim...like a week ago...it had been some weeks since we had had ANY type of contact...he gonna say some mess like, "i hadn't called or contacted u all of this time b/c i knew u were talkin' 2 someone"

only instance the "easy 4 me 2 get over 'em if i want" thing doesn't apply is if i reeeally had strong feelings 4 the person...really cared about him...& especially if time/energy was invested in my being interested in him...
in most cases, i can still overcome....but it's just a longer & more difficult process....
guess i coulda put this in xanga now that i think about it, lol...but i sort of was looking 4 anyone who could relate...or thinks i'm in the wrong in the situation above...or more accurately, that HE is in tha wrong...

Oooooh girl I know what u mean. Last year I met alot of the boys on Albany track team cuz we raced against them. Every single on of em was trying to get at my friend Lauren. Mainly cuz she was flirting wit them on that level and I was concentrating on the meet and my events. They all was trying to get with her and treating me like the cute lil sister. So when I get here fall semester and they find out Lauren ain't come they try to be all up in my face. Ohhhhh naaaah remember you wanted to get wit Lauren but now that she ain't here it's "You know I always wanted to get wit you." N!gga I'm not stupid :arrow:
This has happened to me twice. Once with a guy I was "talking" to who got back with an old girlfriend. Called me two months later talking about his miss me and made a mistake. I'll admit, I let him back but I let him go shortly after.
The second time was with a guy whom I was just friends with but we flirted a lot. He would tell me that I am his number one but one day he tells me I am "2nd string" now cause I be trippin cause I don't call him.
