YOU NEED SOME DAMN LOTION! Posted on 12-16-2004

Yall... I need your help. After using many lotions over the years, I still haven't found one to fulfill my dry needs. I'll use lotion and my legs and hands will be soft for a day or so but I need something that lasts. So my question is: What lotion do you use? And what is the best lotion to cure really dry skin. Or is they're so othe remedy that you use like cocoa butter, shea, or oatmeal? Help a sista out.

Cocoa Butter works for me. Also I used to use Johnson and Johnson's Baby **** Gel..if you put it on right after you get out of the shower, it will last your through the next day. The only problem is that its greasy...but it's a good moisturizer.

Mango-Cocoa Butter: if u get the solid kind, you should be ash-free Vasaline: this only works if you have a full ten minutes to spare. If u use therightamount(i.e. not enough to look like wesley snipes under a heat lamp), and massage it in slowly, you should be ash free for at least 2 days, evenafter ya shower

i had the problem for a long time. ESPECIALLY on my legs. my skin used to be like a freakin desert. but i've found that Vaseline Intensive Care lotion works WONDERS. they have one, i think it has vitamin E and aloe....its a life saver. and also Johnson's NightCare baby lotion. i use the one that had lavender in it. or you could always use good old fashioned Palmers coca butter lotion but it doesnt last like the Vaseline lotion does.
