lol...depends where u flying from, and what u consider an arm and a leg....For me...I fly everytime I go home. And since Tallahassee is a regional airport it costs me more. It usually airfare on a good day runs me about $300. Every now and then I can get it a lil less...but its usually 300 or a lil more...the most Ive ever paid to go home is is almost $400....but if I was flying from an international airport it would be alot cheaper.
southwest!
some plane tickets cost less than bus tickets... 8)
thats tru. I have a southwest card so i know...I flew from Ct to Orlando for $95 once. UNFORTUNATELY tallahassee doesnt have southwest airlines there, so I end up flying Delta or US Airways...

You also have to consider the date that you purchase the ticket. If you buy the ticket at least two weeks in advance it won't be as much as if you wait until the last minute. I fly continental express. Straight flights are the only way to go for me. Buying tickets for college students is always a hassle, because around the time that we go home airlines always want to raise the price. I usually pay under 400 for a roundtrip. Never more than that. Just make sur you buy the tickets well in advance.

Yeah, but I always buy my tickets to go home for thanksgiving or christmas in like September when they will be at their cheapest and I know my schedule for when I know I can go home...ANYTIME I fly, I try to get my tickets ATLEAST a month in advance.

True, but my dumb a$$ school likes to change the schedule and not tell people until a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving break.
