..you learn to appreciate the "smaller" things in life..literally (smaller bed bed, room, portions of food, ...etc)

Noodles become a staple in your diet
You get irritated when people leave their clothes in the washers/dryers when its ur turn to do laundry
You will wear your pajamas to class and not give a dayum
U complain about being ready to go home, but when u go home for breaks u can't wait to get back to school
U will skip class just because its at the other end of campus
